WHY MOBILIZATION?
WHY MOBILIZATION? Because the Harvest is plentiful and the workers are few…
In the 2,000+ years since Jesus’ resurrection, the message of the gospel has become accessible to a little over half of the world’s population. Yet, there are still nearly 3 billion people in the world who do not have access to the good news. Those 3 billion people are considered unreached. Unreached is a term Christians have created to identify those who do not have access to the Gospel.
Those 3 billion people will turn the radio dial and not run across a Christian radio station in their language, 3 billion people do not have a Bible in their language, 3 billion people cannot attend a church and 3 billion people have never met a Christian. The message of Jesus simply isn’t available to them.
Out of all the worlds long term, cross-cultural missionaries, only 4% of workers are serving among the unreached. The harvest is plentiful, yet workers, long term missionaries, are few. If we want to see the unreached reached, we need to send more workers.
So why aren’t more people going? For Christians, the command is clear in scripture and the need is great… but there is a lack of vision.
The Bible tells us that one day people of every tribe, tongue, nation, and language will be gathered together worshiping the Lord (Revelation 5:9-10). It’s the crescendo moment in scripture. A moment every follower of Jesus should be waiting for and working toward. The mission of God fulfilled! The commissioning work of Christ completed!
However, the work is not complete. The world is full of people who do not know about the accomplished work of Christ on the cross… There is a gap.
Aim father WITH your vision. aim farther with your investment
The need for more workers is a need to more vision. We need to
Behind every missionary is a mobilizer. A mobilizer is someone is discipling others in their heart for the world.
